đź’™ Questions? We’ve Got AnswersÂ
🤷‍♀️Who is eligible to join the Partnership Grant Program?Â
Schools (public, charter, private), PTOs/PTAs, booster clubs, marching bands, robotics teams, libraries, and other youth-serving nonprofits.Â
🤷‍♀️ What is a governing-organization partnership?
Some groups belong to a larger governing organization such as a school district or multi-site nonprofit. When a governing organization starts a partnership, the governing organization receives 35% of sales and each participating local school or site earns 35% of sales, instead of the local organization earning 50% on its own. In this structure, TempleEdge Learning donates 70% of sales to Growth Mindset Collaborative for distribution between the governing organization and its participating schools or sites.
NOTE: Only local schools/sites can have real-time tracking as one report. Governing organizations will receive biweekly reports for all participating locations, along with individual tracking links for each school/site.
To participate as a governing organization, please email Michelle at michelle@growthmindsetcollaborative.org.Â
đź’µWhat does it cost to join?
There is no fee to join the Partnership Grant Program.
🤔How soon can we start?
Once your form is submitted, your custom link is created within 24–48 hours. The form must be completed by an authorized representative of your organization (such as a PTO/PTA officer, principal, or designated staff member). You can begin sharing as soon as you receive your link.
🗓️When is the best time to start?
You can start anytime of year. Best practice to help students raise test scores while raising the most funds for your school would be having target test dates. I recommend program-wide efforts be focused on the March, August, and November exams as well as the October PSAT. Give students at least 2–3 months to prepare for the exam if you are promoting the SAT to 1300 course bundle ($99: less than an hour of private tutoring). You could also promote the boot camps a month before any exam.
🏫Why a school-wide effort?
Dr. Test Prep grew out of the free SAT program I created at a Title I school because of my desire to make quality SAT Prep engaging, inspiring, and affordable to as many students as I could. These amazing students raised the school's average SAT score 70+ points in a single year through an organization-wide focus to prepare for the November and March tests. Additionally, I used my own funds for weekly prize drawings when students met study goals. If you want help putting an organization-wide plan together, just let me know.
đź”—What if families forget to use our link?
All sales must go through your unique tracking link to count toward your grant total.
If families purchase directly without it, the organization won’t receive credit for those sales. We recommend including your link in every reminder or post to make sure your school earns every dollar it’s due.
đź’µHow do payouts work?
All tracking is managed through TempleEdge Learning, which records each purchase made through your organization’s link. The grant funds are then transferred to Growth Mindset Collaborative, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, that distributes the payments by check to your organization. On your participation form, you’ll choose whether to receive payouts twice a month or once a month.
♻️Can we promote this year-round?
Yes! Your link can be shared anytime — before test dates, during fundraisers, or over the summer. For schools or community organizations (like libraries), links remain active year-round. For clubs or booster groups, participation may be approved for one school year at a time so other groups have a chance to participate in future cycles.
